Sidney Sports Management Limited is actively recruiting talented footballers across all positions and age groups. Whether you're a seasoned professional seeking a new club, a promising youth player ready to take the next step, or a semi-professional with ambitions of playing at a higher level — we want to assess your profile.
Our recruitment process is straightforward, transparent, and genuinely focused on matching players with the right opportunities — not just any opportunity. We take on players we believe in, and we pursue their placements with the same intensity we would expect from the players themselves.
Clubs and academies in our network — across Nigeria, Azerbaijan, Russia, and partner nations in Europe — are regularly requesting specific player profiles. Our recruitment pipeline is how we source those players. Getting onto our radar is your first step into our global network.
We don't spam clubs with player profiles. Every player we present to a club is a targeted match — right profile, right position, right timing. This ensures clubs take our recommendations seriously, and players get genuine consideration.
Our active markets include Nigeria, Azerbaijan, Russia, and partnership clubs across Europe and Asia.
Recruited players don't just get placed — they get represented. We handle everything: contract negotiation, travel support, visa assistance, and ongoing career management.
We are actively sourcing players in the following positions for clubs and academies in our network.
Shot-stopping ability, commanding of the penalty area, good distribution. Ages 16–28.
Centre-backs and full-backs with composure, physicality, and defensive organization. Ages 16–30.
Defensive, box-to-box, and attacking midfielders with technical quality and high work rates. Ages 15–30.
Wingers, strikers, and second strikers with pace, technical ability, and goal contribution. Ages 15–30.
We assess players across a range of technical, physical, mental, and professional criteria. Great football ability is essential — but it's rarely the only thing that gets a player placed at the right club. Attitude, professionalism, and adaptability matter enormously in an international career.
Our assessment process is thorough but straightforward. Players typically begin with a profile submission, followed by video review, and then — for candidates we wish to progress — a live assessment, either at one of our scouting events or at the Baku & Karabakh International Youth Football Competition.
Ball control, passing accuracy, shooting technique, and positional awareness relevant to the player's role.
Speed, strength, stamina, and athleticism appropriate for the level of football targeted.
Decision-making under pressure, tactical understanding, and the ability to read the game quickly.
Resilience, focus, competitive drive, and the ability to perform consistently across different environments.
Reliability, punctuality, respect for coaches and teammates, and a professional approach to training and match days.
Willingness and ability to adapt to new environments, cultures, and playing styles — essential for international career development.
Is the player still improving? Youth players especially are assessed on potential as much as current level.
Valid passport, clean international transfer eligibility, and no outstanding FIFA or federation restrictions.
The application process is simple and straightforward. We review every submission we receive.
Contact us via email or phone with your name, age, position, current club, and highlight video link. A short written bio describing your career to date is helpful.
Our scouting team reviews your video material. We look for technical quality, positional play, athleticism, and football intelligence. We provide feedback within 14 working days.
Shortlisted players are invited to a scouting showcase or the Baku & Karabakh tournament. Outstanding candidates enter our active representation roster and we begin pursuing placements immediately.
